One of my favorite snacks to give my boys is a big platter of fresh fruit or vegetables. I just wash the fruit, slice it all up, and put the whole platter on the kitchen counter and watch it disappear! This Saturday, March 28th is Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards at 8 PM EST, and the official drink of the awards show is Capri Sun Roarin' Waters. I came up with a light and delicious Tropical Fruit Dip recipe made with Capri Sun Roarin' Waters to go along with a platter of fresh fruit for my boys to snack on while watching the awards show this weekend.
And to drink, Capri Sun Roarin' Waters of course! Capri Sun Roarin' Waters are lightly fruit flavored fruit beverages with only 30 calories and no artificial colors or flavors.
I made up this easy recipe myself, so I tested it out last night. Our oldest son asked me if I would frost his birthday cake with it because he loved it so much... and his birthday isn't until November! And look how much this sweet boy loved it.
It's super easy to make, and a definite crowd pleaser.
Tropical Fruit Dip
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar (I have just 1 cup pictured- I used 2 cups)
3 tablespoons of Capri Sun Roarin' Waters Tropical Fruit Drink
Whip cream cheese in stand mixer until light and fluffy. Add in powdered sugar and mix on low, stopping to scrape down sides, until mixed well. Slowly add in juice and mix for 2 minutes, until creamy and well combined. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
Right now at Walmart, you can find Capri Sun Roarin' Waters on a special end cap display like I did. My store had Original Capri Sun and Capri Sun Roarin' Waters on the display.
They can also be found in the juice aisle.
Either way, Capri Sun Roarin' Waters can be purchased in a "Team Pack" with 30 drink pouches so you're guaranteed plenty of Capri Sun Roarin' Waters for your kids Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards time this Saturday, March 28th!
