Budget Kitchen Makeover Phase 2 Sneak Peek: Painted Cabinets!

Hi Friends! I've been looking forward to having a bright, white, shiny kitchen for YEARS. I'm over the moon excited that I finally have one!! It is not 100% complete, but I just couldn't wait any longer to show you our progress in this sneak peek post.

I am thrilled with the progress so far. Our kitchen looks cleaner, bigger, and brighter. I can finally take pictures in my kitchen without them looking yellow and too dark.

Here is what the kitchen looked like two before Giani Granite and cabinets painted white.

Here is what still needs to be done...

-There are still a couple of places that need touching up or finished off with a final coat of paint.
-I'm waiting for our new stools and decorations that I've ordered online to arrive.
-We still need to pick out and install hardware so all of these cute little hands here can use the handles and pulls.  They will give it a finished look, break up the whiteness, and preserve the life of my new paint job :)
-I'm saving my very favorite part of our kitchen reveal for a separate post next week {eeeek!  SO excited!} Here's a hint... it's an amazing BUDGET BACKSPLASH!  Sorry, I just yelled.  I'm excited.

So for now, a sneak peek of the cabinets together with the countertops painted with Giani Granite Countertop Kit as seen in Phase 1 of our Budget Kitchen Makeover.  We absolutely LOVE and recommend Giani Granite if you're looking for a way to easily update your outdated countertops on a budget.  As you can see below, in the first picture our countertops were worn and chipped.  In the second picture, they were painted.  And the third picture, our kitchen cabinets are painted white and the kitchen makeover is almost complete!

Next week, I'll be back to show you Phase 3- an amazing backsplash product that I'm sure you'll adore too! Along the road someday, we plan on updating the lighting and flooring too but that's not in our current plan.

Have a great day friends!  Be sure to follow along on Instagram and Facebook too where I love to share sneak peeks of my projects and little glimpses into our daily life here at Gallamore West! xoxo
