Teacher Appreciation Day is next Tuesday, May 6th and we're ready to show our teachers some love with these quick and adorable potted succulents. The pots are so fun and colorful, and I'm all about succulents because they are harder to kill than other plants. Plus all of my supplies were a rockin' deal... so if you're looking for an inexpensive way to show a teacher that you care that will only take you about 10 minutes to put together, you can make this "Thanks for helping me grow" Teacher Appreciation Gift too.
Here's all you need...
a pot (these are from Michael's and they were 60% off so I think they were around $3 each)
a plant (these adorable succulents are a steal at $3.49 each at Trader Joe's, although a potted flower would be super cute too)
Fill a little more than 1/2 of your pot with potting soil and make a hole for your plant.
Add in your plants and you're almost done!
Printable tag- Mine are from Lauren McKinsey. Her printables are always so fun and cheery, and priced very affordably too. And just grab whatever you have around the house, such as a bamboo skewer or striped straw to tape your printable onto, then stick it down into the potting soil.
Optional: Add a gift card! I couldn't resist adding this cute Target gift card made just for teachers.
I used these same colorful pots a few years ago to make another fun Teacher Appreciation Gift!
I'll be back on Monday with another Teacher Appreciation Gift Idea that's even quicker, easier, and still won't break the bank at around $5. Have a great weekend!
I'm linking up to Tatertots and Jello.
