Whoosh! Another month in the books. February has flown by here, and we are SO ready to welcome in March. I don't know about you, but we sure could use some good luck around here, so I'm going all out with the bling, glitter, and gold for St. Patrick's Day this year! In fact, my mind feels like an explosion of crating ideas right now, so I'm excited to share a bunch of fun and easy St. Patrick's Day crafting ideas with you within the next few weeks, starting with my Lucky Pot of Gold wreath today.
I found this burlap at Jo Ann's. It's so pretty up close in person because it's a shimmery gold.
I didn't really take step by step pictures of this project because honestly, it's been a while since I've had a chance to sit down and craft. I have missed it so much, so I just crafted without getting caught up in snapping pictures. Plus, it was SO easy... I just cut the burlap into long strips, wrapped them tightly, pinning them with sewing pins on the backside, then I glued on the shamrocks and the pot of gold, painted and stamped the pennants, strung them on twine and tied a ribbon on top to hang it. Super simple and I think it came out so fun and blingy. I don't usually go for anything blingy so this was a fun, different project for me.
Here's a supply list though in case you'd like to make your own Lucky Pot of Gold Wreath too.
