Tiramisu Desserts with a shot of coffee

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.

Are you ready to party it up tonight?  Or maybe you're ready for a quiet night at home with your family?  Either way, I hope you enjoy bringing in 2014 tonight!   Here's an easy mock no-bake layered Tiramisu dessert, perfect for New Year's Eve because this is a coffee recipe, so not only will it help to keep you up until midnight, it's served in champagne flutes so it's festive for New Year's Eve too.

These coffee desserts are delicious and easy to make, and along with this free New Year's Eve printable from The Girls at Eighteen25, I think they also serve as a fabulous decoration for your New Year's Eve table!

I shopped for my ingredients, including Ambiance Coffee, at my local Smart & Final store.  Do you shop there?  I love shopping at Smart & Final because the store is packed full of high quality items at low prices and the only thing missing there are the crazy crowds you find at other warehouse stores.  That's why I #ChooseSmart by shopping at Smart & Final.

I'm a HUGE coffee drinker so I love finding high quality coffee at a great price.  Smart & Final definitely gets an A+ in that department.  The coffee selection was amazing, and at $5.49 a pound for Ambiance coffee, I'm definitely hooked!

Here's the recipe:

36 Lattemiele Cookies {Milk & Honey Cookies} broken in half
1/2 cup Ambience Coffee, freshly brewed
8 ounces Marscapone cheese
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Using a stand mixer, combine marscapone cheese, sugar and vanilla and blend until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.  Line up 12 champagne flutes.  Pour one tablespoon of freshly brewed coffee into each champagne flute to fill the stem.  Place 1/2 a cookie into bottom of the flute.  Gently spoon one teaspoon of coffee on top of the cookie.  Spread 1 teaspoon of cheese mixture on top of the cookie.  Sprinkle with 1/8 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder.  Repeat the layering- cookie, coffee, cheese, cocoa powder two more times in each glass, fora  total of 3 layers in each glass, creating an easy, no-bake layered dessert.  Makes 12 adorable, delicious desserts with a hint of coffee throughout and a shot of coffee in each glass.  Yum!

And be sure to follow Smart & Final on Facebook for your chance to win one of ten Keurig K65 Special Edition Brewing Systems, or one of ten $100 Smart & Final SmartCash Cards!  You can also visit Smart & Final for details on entering.

Happy 2014 to you!!
I wish you a year filled with love, laughter, sweets and many hot cups of coffee.
