There is pretty much nothing that I love more than getting crafty at Christmas Time, so I especially loved this opportunity to get crafty with Extra Gum. Yep, you read that right... crafting with sugar free, mint gum! I had never done that before, but it turns out that it is so fun and easy to craft with that I'm sure I'll be crafting with gum again sometime. Plus, the whole room smells like peppermint.

I shopped at my local Walmart for the supplies for this craft:

Extra Gum
Red felt
{Also used: Scissors & Hot Glue Gun}

I cut 5 red felt rectangles, then just measured across the top of one of the rectangles to get the length for the ribbon. I hot glued on all of the ribbon.

Then I started the fun part... cutting and crafting with Extra Peppermint gum! I chose to work with peppermint gum because it's a cool blue color and I love the color combo of red and blue together.

Using the wrappers and the actual gum, I designed some fun little snowflakes that I hot glued onto the felt.

Then I just glued some ribbon on to it to make it into a banner, strung it up on my chalkboard, added some glittery ornaments to the sides, and wrote "Peppermint Dreams" on the board.

I'm loving this fun, unique Christmas decoration made with gum! It makes me smile every time I walk into the room and it fills the air with the fragrant scent of peppermint.

Extra Gum makes a great stocking stuffer, teacher gift, and as you can see, it makes a great crafting supply too... Happy Christmas Crafting, friends! xoxo
