Candy Corn Truffles

Today I'm sharing a super sweet and easy to make, no-bake Fall treat with you...
Candy Corn Truffles!

I switched up regular Oreo truffles for a sweet Halloween treat for our Family Movie Night dessert last week.  With just 4 ingredients, these sweet treats will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients
1 package of Candy Corn Oreo cookies
1/2 brick cream cheese, room temperature
White melting chocolate (I used Wilton candy melts & Trader Joe's White Chocolate Chips- both worked great!)
Sprinkles, candy corn or other toppings

Mix the cookies and the softened cream cheese in a stand mixer for about 5 minutes, until all the cookies are thoroughly crushed and combined well with the cream cheese.  Your mixture will be bright orange and soft.

Melt white chocolate in microwave on low setting until completely melted.  How long this step takes depends on the power of your microwave.  I have a really inconsistent microwave so I have to check mine often to keep it from burning.

Spray a foil-lined cookie sheet with a thin coat of non-stick cooking spray.  Roll the cookie mixture into small balls, one at a time.  Dip each ball into the melted white chocolate using a slotted spoon.  Gently shake the white chocolate covered ball against the side of the bowl to shake off the excess white chocolate, then gently place it on the cookie sheet.  Immediately put sprinkles or other topping on it before the white chocolate hardens.

{This picture is from my Instagram feed... I looove Instagram}

Once I have finished this step with each truffle, I place the whole cookie sheet in the fridge for about 10 minutes to harden the truffles quickly.  And that's it- so quick and easy!  They look great on a pretty plate, and would also be wonderful little teacher or neighbor treats for Halloween.

Enjoy! xoxo
