Healthy Snacking with Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips!

It's a fun, busy summer here at Gallamore West!  We're out and about exploring our beautiful city of San Diego all the time these days.  To save money and make healthier eating choices, we're skipping the drive thru and packing LOTS of picnics.  So when I was given the chance to try these Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips, I jumped at the opportunity.

Yesterday I loaded up the four boys and we headed out to the {World Famous} San Diego Zoo!  We stopped for a quick, healthy picnic at Balboa Park before heading in to see our favorite zoo animals.  Along with our homemade sandwiches, yogurt, and juice, we tried two varieties of the Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips- Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in Garden Ranch flavor, and Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips in Barbecue Flavor.  Yum!

Sometimes striking a balance between healthy and delicious food is a difficult one with picky eaters, but not today!  The boys were so excited to see that I brought them chips to snack on- a rare treat around here.  Our oldest was a huge fan of the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in Garden Ranch.

I was a fan of the Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips because I love the sweet, spicy kick from the Barbecue flavor.

After the boys ate them and raved about how much they liked them, I told them that the chips are made with real vegetables...

Yep, they're made with real vegetables.  While they are not a substitute for vegetables altogether, as a healthy Mama who is trying hard to make healthier choices for the whole family, these chips get a thumbs up from our boys and from me too!  Check out Green Giant on Facebook, and pack up some Green Giant Veggie Snack Trips next time you're looking for a healthier snack.

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
