Wonderlandia: Hostess with the Mostess Launch Party!

Glam, whimsy, sweet and sophisticated...

A rooftop lounge bar party hosted by The Hostess with the Mostess to celebrate the launch of HWTM's new social site.  I was beyond excited that I got to go and bring my two sweet friends, Jen {Twiddler House} and Erin with me.

Before we even stepped foot into the hotel, we were treated to paparazzi-style photos, complete with Wonderlandia photo props {taken by a pro photographer... hope to catch a glimpse of those pics soon!} then whisked away into a private elevator to the rooftop lounge.

Drinks, appetizers, gorgeous floral displays, fabulous details at every glance, and sweets flowed freely while we mingled with some of the biggest names in the party planning industry, including Jenn Sbranti, THE Hostess with the Mostess herself!  I brought her freshly baked chocolate chip cookies as a little "hostess gift" and was amazed when I introduced myself and she said, "Oh yeah, I totally know who you are." {pinch me already!}  She was adorable and so sweet.  And yet a total business powerhouse.

There were tables displaying goods from all of the event's sponsors {Columbia Crest Winery, Glue Dots, Tiny Prints, Evite...} along with fabulously decorated tables from some of the finest party stylists {The Special Day, Events by Heather Ham, Paper & Cake, Jesi Haack Design, A Subtle Revelry}

along with the vendor display tables styled by The Hostess with the Mostess.

paper & cake's Kid's Party was my favorite!  It was full of whimsy, sweet details like cake pops that looked like the earth, vintage suitcases flowing with meringue kisses, and of course paper & Cake's adorable printables.  I've used two of paper & Cake's printable party sets- Jake's Sailboat Party and a football party.  I LOVED them!

The dessert bar was amazing!  Full of whimsical eye candy {like this pink flying pig... I loved him}

along with apothecary jars full of real candy too, ready to be loaded into little favor bags that said "Eat Me."  So of course, I did.  The cupcakes by Hey There, Cupcake! with fondant flowers by Two Sugar Babies were delicious.  I've got to figure out that frosting recipe!  And the cake was gorgeous.  Oh, and the sugar cookies by Bees Knees Creative and Allyson Jane were adorable.  As someone who has done a bit of sugar cookie decorating, I was floored at the gorgeous icing details.

Getting to meet Jenn Sbranti {Hostess with the Mostess} was definitely the highlight of my night, along with meeting some other really fun party girls... Jessica {Modern Moments Designs} and Paige {Paiges of Style}.

Ohhh, and the swag bag was an adorable re-usable lunch bag packed full of goodies, gift cards, and more.  It truly was a night in Wonderlandia- a night I'll always remember!

Have you signed up at HWTM new social site?  Hostess with the Mostess is already my to-go source for fabulous party inspiration.  And now, there is even more eye candy and ideas to be found at HWTM's new social site!  Check it out and create your own account at hwtm.com.  Go to "My Dashboard" to create your login and then let me know you did.  I'll be sure to "favorite" you!
