It's Trike-A-Thon time!!

This is the 2nd year that Samuel will be pedaling his little legs as fast as he can for a good cause...
The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Trike-A-Thon!!

Last year Samuel’s sponsors raised just over $400 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! It was a wonderful way for Sam to learn the importance of giving to others and helping kids with cancer; kids like Sam’s own cousin, Simeon, who was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2006.



Please consider sponsoring Samuel with either a pledge per lap
(most children complete about 25 laps) or by donating a flat amount.

Dancing in the rain

It was sunny yesterday morning and we jumped in the car to go to the grocery store. It started sprinkling on the way there. By the time we got there {45 seconds later} it was POURING! We sat in the car in the parking lot for a few minutes before deciding to go back home. We got home and a few minutes later it was sunny again. We hopped back in the car and went back to the store. When we came out {with a cart FULL of groceries} it was POURING again. And when we got home, the boys danced in the rain in the driveway. And it was hilarious!!

 

A "Hoppy" Valentine's Day Party!!

The boys and I hosted a "HOPPY" Valentine's Day party on Monday! There were 17 little ones and their mommies, and my mom {aka Nani}. Even cousin Zachary was there for his 1st Valentine's Day Party!

It was a cold and rainy day...perfect for soup and sandwiches, playtime, cookie decorating, Valentines bag decorating and a Valentine's exchange! And of course, plenty of sweet treats!

This is the 3rd year we've hosted a Valentine's Day party for the boys {and yes, I have the theme for next year's event already planned}!

Valentine's Day... Round One!

Hearts, glitter, sweet treats, flowers, love letters... I love every little thing about Valentine's Day. And with kids, I love it even more. The celebrating began this week and next week is packed full of LOVEly fun stuff! Every year I choose a little theme for Valentine's Day... this year it's "Hoppy Valentine's Day" inspired by the shirts I found for the boys for 99 cents each. {Way back in October at The Children's Place outlet... the only two shirts in that style in the whole store and they were just the right sizes!}







So, forget Valentine's Day... more Valentine's "month" pictures coming soon!

Favorite friends

We really couldn't have asked for two sweeter little boys. They get along so well (with only an occasional WHACK on the head!) and I just love watching them laugh and play together all day long. Oh, what I wouldn't give to bottle this up and keep it forever.
