Dino Mountain!!

This was just about the coolest thing ever for our boys... Dino Mountain at the Wild Animal Park!!! At first I thought Jake would freak out, but he loved it. And Sam of course was thrilled to see the moving, growling, drooling dinosaurs in action. Really, it was like I was there with THREE little boys (Ben loved it too!) We will definitely be heading back to Dino Mountain before it leaves the WAP in September.

And I thought I was having a bad hair day?!?!

The Stegasaurus model was open so the kids could work the controls and see how the "dinosaurs" move... very cool hands-on activity!

Sam was so proud that he filled his "Dino Mountain Passport" with stamps of all of the dinosaurs we saw. Next stop= The new Elephant Odyssey at the Zoo!!!

We are DYING to go to this! We were there a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't quite open yet, but we are planning to go back ASAP. John is very excited and talks about it almost every day. :)

I'm so glad to see it wasn't too scary for your boys. I've been a little worried about that. But our boys are VERY into dinosaurs right now, so I hope they will love it. Looks like FUN!!

What a neat exhibit! I know my kids, especially the boys, would have loved it. Sam looks so excited about having his passport filled. said...

Wow, that looks so fun! We're definitely going to check it out. I was showing a dinosaur book to Gisele the other day, telling her all the names that I could remember from grade school, but then i looked at the descriptions and the scientists changed some of their names. Oops. Did you notice that when you were there?
