I was dying to try this recipe for months and I'm so glad I did! I made these Sweet Dinner Rolls for our St. Patrick's Day dinner and they were easy and delicious.

Here's the recipe:
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup warm milk
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast or 2.5 teaspoons if using a jar of yeast.
1/4 cup butter, softened

Warm the water and milk in the microwave for about a minute. Pour it into the bowl of you KitchenAid, then stir in the sugar until dissolved. Then stir in the yeast. Wait about 10 minutes (it should get kind of foamy). Then mix in the salt, butter, and egg. Add in the flour one-half cup at a time. Let it rise for about 45 minutes in the bowl. Punch it down, divide into 16 balls and let it rise for about an hour more. Bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees (or was it 400?) Decide based on your oven :)

They were awesome and perfect for breakfast the next morning with butter and jam.
